چکیده

We consider the quantum nonlinear Schrödinger equation in one space and one time dimension. It is equivalent to Bose gas with delta interaction. We are interested in the non-free-fermionic case. We calculate temperature-dependent correlation functions. The determinant representation for correlation functions simplifies in the small mass limit of the Bose particle. In this limit we describe the correlation function in terms of the Maxwell-Bloch differential equation. We solve this equation at large distance and evaluate asymptotics of correlation functions. 1 [email protected] 2 [email protected] 2 [email protected] ⋆ Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. 1

The dynamics of the one-dimensional delta-function Bose gas

We give a method to solve the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for a system of one-dimensional bosons interacting via a repulsive delta function potential. The method uses the ideas of Bethe Ansatz but does not use the spectral theory of the associated Hamiltonian.

Fermi-bose transformation for the time-dependent Lieb-Liniger gas.

Exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation describing a freely expanding Lieb-Liniger gas of delta-interacting bosons in one spatial dimension are constructed. We demonstrate that for any interaction strength the system enters a strongly correlated regime during such expansion. The asymptotic form of the wave function is shown to have the form characteristic for "impenetrable-core" bosons. Exa...

Completely Integrable Equation for the Quantum Correlation Function of Nonlinear Schrödinger Eqaution

Correlation functions of exactly solvable models can be described by differential equations [1]. In this paper we show that for non free fermionic case differential equations should be replaced by integro-differential equations. We derive an integro-differential equation, which describes time and temperature dependent correlation function 〈ψ(0, 0)ψ(x, t)〉T of penetrable Bose gas. The integrodif...

Maxwell-Bloch equation and Correlation functions for penetrable Bose gas

We consider static temperature-dependent correlation functions. The determinant representation for correlation functions simplifies in the small mass limit of the Bose particle. In this limit we describe the correlation functions by the vacuum expectation...

The Bose Gas and Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process on the Half-Line

In this paper we find explicit formulas for: (1) Green’s function for a system of one-dimensional bosons interacting via a delta-function potential with particles confined to the positive half-line; and (2) the transition probability for the one-dimensional asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP) with particles confined to the nonnegative integers. These are both for systems with a finite nu...
